I'm a lifelong Pike County resident having never called anywhere else home. I graduated from Eastern High School in Beaver, Ohio. Shortly after graduating, I was hired as a deputy sheriff here in Pike County working for Sheriff Roy Ross. I left the sheriff's department in December 1979 holding the rank of Lieutenant. My wife Tammy and I moved to the Village of Piketon in May of 1992 and in November of 1999 I was elected to Village Council. After serving on council for 4 years I decided to seek the office of Mayor. I have the great honor of serving the good folks of Piketon as their mayor since January 1st, 2004 currently in my 5th term.
