The Village of Piketon intends to construct a new sewer plant using funding from the Ohio EPA's Water Pollution Control Loan Account. A Public Meeting to discuss the new plant will be on Monday August 7, 2023 at 6PM in Council Chambers, 411 West Street in Piketon.
Mayor Billy Spencer and Administrator Jennifer Chandler will be on hand to provide information about the new sewer plant's design, answer your questions, and accept official comments for the record.
The Ohio EPA completed an Environmental Assessment (EA) and has concluded the project should not result in significant adverse environmental impacts. The EA will available for review by August 1 by scrolling down to the bottom of the Village website's home page and clicking on " New Sewer Plant".
