Public Meeting to discuss New Water Treatment Plant
The Village of Piketon intends to construct a new water treatment plant using funding from the Ohio EPA’s Water Supply Revolving Loan Account. A Public Meeting to discuss the new plant will be on Wednesday May 24, 2023 at 6PM in Council Chambers, 411 West Street in Piketon.
Mayor Billy Spencer and Administrator Jennifer Chandler will be on hand to provide information about the new water plant’s design, answer your questions, and accept official comments for the record.
The Ohio EPA completed an Environmental Assessment (EA) and has concluded the project should not result in significant adverse environmental impacts. The EA is available for review by scrolling down to the bottom of the Village website’s home page and clicking on ” New Water Treatment Plant”.
